one of the big colossus of the Andeans. The normal route is the
Inca´s, which can be considered a ¨very enjoyable altitude walk¨.
The
peak can also be attempted from the south by following the Japanesse route,
as well as from the east through the Caballito Glacier.

A
very challenging 6000 m in the area, with many interesting lines to
try, being the
most famous the
austriac one in the upper part of the Salto Frio Glacier.
Other 6000's are present: La Ramada 6380 m, Alma Negra 6120 m and La
Mesa 6200 m. The
different routes varies from easy lines -mostly walking-, to
technical ascents
