Mount Aconcagua, at 6961m, is the highest peak of America.

Aconcagua's Polish Glacier is a unique route that blends high altitude with technical climbing, being the choice of those experienced climbers who prefer to avoid the crowds of the Normal Route.

 

Itinerary

 
Day 1: Arrival in Mendoza, transfer airport-hotel lodging. 
Day 2: Free day in Mendoza. 
Day 3: Transfer in private vehicles from Mendoza to Penitentes where the group will spend the night. 
Day 4: Penitentes - Vacas Valley (2,400 m), where the trek begins, around 4 hours later we arrive at our first camp douring the approach trek; Pampa de Leñas (2950 mts)
Day 5:  Pampa de Leñas - Casas de Piedra (3240 mts), seccond camp douring the approach trek.
Day 6: Arrival to Base Camp (4190 mts) probably the most demanding day in the ascent.
Day 7: Rest day at Base Camp.
Day 8:  Load cary to Camp 1 (4800 mts) and back to Base Camp
Day 9: Rest day at Base Camp.
Day 10: Mooving to Camp 1
Day 11: Load cary to Camp 2 (5830) and back to Camp 1
Day 12: Rest day at Camp 1
Day 13: Mooving to Camp 2
Day 14: First summit attempt. Back to Camp 2
Day 15: Seccond summit attempt.
Day 16: Third summit attempt.
Day 17: Camp 2 - Base Camp
Day18: Base Camp - Pampa de Leñas
Day19: Pampa de Leñas – Penitentes. Transfer back to Mendoza. Hotel night.
